Qualitative Privileges

As with any other type of project within LiGRE, Qualitative projects have a three levels privilege system. Each of these levels is detailed below.

Owner

The project creator is automatically set as its owner. Also, projects can only have one owner and he cannot be demoted.

Project owners have no privileges restriction.

Owner’s privileges:

• Add and transcribe data
• Codify data
• Edit public page
• Codification tree management
• Lock/unlock codification tree
• Export codification results
• Export data
• Members management
• Archive the project

* Only project owners can export both the project’s data and codification results.

Researcher

Project owners can promote only one colleague to the rank of researcher. Researchers have a wide range of options since they work as a substitute for the project owner.

Researcher’s privileges:

• Add and transcribe data
• Codify data
• Edit public page
• Codification tree management

Assistant

Every invited user first join a project as an assistant. Only the project owner can change the status and promote an assistant to the role of researcher.

Assistant’s privileges:

• Add and transcribe data
• Codify data
• Edit public page
