Members
LiGRE was designed to allow and facilitate teamwork. As such, any LiGRE users and non-users can be invited to join a project within LiGRE. Non-users will need to create an account to join a project LiGRE.
To have colleagues join one of your projects, you only need to send them an invitation.
Sending Invitation & Member Management
Project invitations are sent through the Add Member button featured in the Team region within your project’s dashboard.
To edit the roles and privileges of a team member:
- Click on the member’s avatar that you want to modify in the Team region of your project’s dashboard.
- Then, select the rank that you want to assign to this user and click save.
To expel a team member:
- Click on the member’s avatar that you want to expel in the Team region of your project’s dashboard.
- And click on the Expel the Member button.
Privileges and Role
Team project member can play one of three roles: owner, researcher or assistant. The user who creates the project is automatically made its owner. Any other user that join the project will be made assistant. The owner can, however, choose to promote one of them to the role of researcher.
Project owners, researchers, and assistants have each their own privileges. Furthermore, they vary depending on the project type. Each of these different sets of privileges is detailed in the page listed below.
